ESA HydroGNSS Scout Mission: Using GNSS for Climate Science

In 2021 the European Space Agency (ESA) selected the small satellite mission HydroGNSS to go ahead to take measurements of key Essential Climate Variables that are critical for assessment of the Earth’s climate. The audience will hear about the novel science of GNSS reflectometry, how the project will deliver valuable science on a small budget and plans to scale up in the future.
