Meet the Buyer Programme

Connecting decision-making buyers and industry suppliers from around the world, Farnborough International Airshow’s Meet the Buyer Programme is one of the most popular and longstanding features of the Airshow.

At the place where the global aerospace industry meets, the Meet the Buyer Programme provides buyers and suppliers with the ultimate networking opportunity to meet face-to-face and to do real business.

We have introduced a brand new bespoke matching system which will significantly increase the relevance of meetings and the compatibility between the buyers’ procurement requirements and the suppliers’ offerings. New software, plus direct input from both buyers and suppliers, supported by our own diligence, means a much more strategic matching process. We are looking to build on the success of the 2018 Meet the Buyer Programme where over 900 face-to-face meetings took place, resulting in £11.4m worth of business being generated over the two days.

Encompassing the entire aerospace and aviation supply chain, the Meet the Buyer Programme covers aerospace, defence, space, security, MRO, airlines, and airport services/equipment.

Supplier participation costs:

The Meet the Buyer programme offers packages of 4 meetings with matched buyers over the two mornings of the event.  If you want more than 4 meetings you will need to purchase additional packages.

The cost to attend also includes:

  • Refreshments (tea, coffee, water) throughout the Meet the Buyer event
  • Your pre-matching and advanced meetings bookings with the Buyers
  • Access to the Buyers Catalogue and Buyer requirements
  • Networking opportunities with other suppliers/buyers in the refreshment point in Meet the Buyer area

What is the admission fee for Trade Days?

Trade passes can only be purchased via the FIA website or at the gate on the day that you visit. It is recommended that you register for your trade pass in advance of arriving at the show.
