L'avenir Commence Ici à Farnborough
Next week, the FIA team will be out in force at the International Paris Airshow. For some Paris and Farnborough may be seen as great rivals, often compared against each other from costs to exhibit to orders and commitments achieved at each event. However, we like to think that the events complement each other. Taking place on alternate years, both are major international showcases for the global aerospace industry but each has its own niche.
Like any exhibitor, the International Paris Airshow is extremely important to us. We have a stand at the show and will be formally launching the 2018 show providing highlights of some of the exciting new features we’ve got planned as well as making some exhibitor announcements and signings. We will also be providing an update on our Hall 1 development. Currently mid-way through construction, all is on-track for July 2018.
Like Farnborough, as a meeting place for the aerospace industry, Paris is a vital opportunity for that all-important face-to-face contact. Our sales team will be meeting with our customers to review floor plans and discuss their participation for the 2018 show.
For us, visiting our French counterpart allows us to identify new business opportunities and look at new trends in the industry. It’s also an opportunity to learn what it’s like as an exhibitor rather than an organiser. Experiencing the show in this way allows us to fully understand our own exhibitor’s needs and make improvements for the next show.
