What is the location of my stand?

How do I register my passes?

Passes must be registered through E-net.

Can we park on-site during build-up?

Yes, Exhibitors can enter via Gate A and park in Car Park 1.

Where can I park during the show?

Vehicle labels for the onsite car parks can be purchased via E-Net. There is also free parking in the offsite Queens Parade Car Park with a free shuttle bus to the show.

What are the important deadlines?

You will be able to find all the important deadlines via your E-net Account.

How do contractors receive their own login details for E-net?

You will need to register your official contractor through E-net, they will then receive their own login details.

What level of insurance is required for the show?

The insurance cover will need to be at the value of £5 million.

When is the next Farnborough International Airshow?

The next instalment of Farnborough International Airshow will take place on 22-26 July 2024. Please note, this is a biennial event, and there is no Airshow in 2023.

Who can register?

Trade audiences can purchase a pass to attend the airshow (Monday-Friday). Tickets can now be purchased through our website. Book your pass now!

Public visitors are invited to purchase a pass to Pioneers of Tomorrow (Friday), our careers-focused public day. Book your tickets now!

Can I buy passes on the day?

We encourage all Trade Visitors to register in advance to save both time and money. There will be limited facilities for visitors to register on the day and there is an increased cost. There will be a wait whilst your registration is processed and verified and this may delay you entering the show.

Pioneers of Tomorrow Passes are limited and we would encourage you to register in advance. We cannot guarantee there will be passes for sale at the gate on the day.

How can I obtain a supporting visa application letter?

If you require support in applying for a visa to enter the country, FIL can assist by supplying a supporting visa application letter.

Are children allowed into the event?

Due to the nature of the event children are not allowed into the Airshow during trade week, however on the Friday we open our doors to a limited number of the general public for our Pioneers of Tomorrow event.

Aimed at students, apprentices, graduates and young professionals interested in a career in the sector, this event has been created to inspire future generations and enable companies to highlight the opportunities they have on offer. What facilities are there for disabled visitors?

Disabled facilities include:

Complimentary carer pass for those accompanying a disabled visitor

Whilst we do not allow animals on site, guide and assistance dogs are permitted.

Is there disabled parking available?

There is a disabled car park onsite which is free of charge to blue badge holders. Access is via Gate F. Please display your blue badge in your car as you approach and follow the yellow AA event signage. You will be directed by Traffic Marshals to the disabled car park. Spaces are on a first come first served basis. Should all the spaces be full, you will be directed to one of the outer car parks. All of our car parks are serviced by accessible shuttle buses which will bring you to the show.

What toilet facilities are there on site?

There are accessible toilets available across the Farnborough International Airshow site both within the exhibition halls and throughout the outdoor exhibition areas.

I am disabled, can my carer come for free?

The Airshow organiser will give one complimentary pass to carers or companions accompanying registered disabled visitors. Please email your visitor pass confirmation email and documentation to support your request to [email protected].

Can I hire electric scooters or wheelchairs?

Show mobility services operate at the airshow and there will be a limited number of electric scooters and wheelchairs at the airshow for disabled visitors to book in advance. The contact details for this service are:

How do I get a Flying Display schedule?

A daily schedule will be available on site on each day, as well as on the website nearer the event. Aircraft listings will also be available on the Official Airshow app – available in the weeks leading up to the show and free to download from the app store. 

Where is the best location to view the Flying Displays?

The best location to view the Flying Displays is in the open areas in front of the chalet rows or from the chalets themselves.

Media can photograph the Flying Display from the Media Centre balcony or the broadcast platform.

Will the Airshow site be very noisy during the flying displays?

The Airshow site will be very loud during the Flying Displays. The displays may include fast jets that can be considerably noisy. 

Where is the Static Aircraft Display located?

The Static Aircraft Display Area is situated alongside the runway and aircraft locations will be printed within the programme.  Please refer to our site map for further details.

What aircraft are on display?

We will publish Aircraft listings as and when we are able to announce them. Please check the website and our social media accounts for further details.

What happens in the event of extreme weather? Will the show still go ahead?

The Flying Display will take place if it is raining. However, the organiser retains the right to cancel any part of the Flying Display due to adverse weather conditions.

How do Media register for a Media Pass?

Media will have to submit their media accreditation application through the Farnborough International Airshow website. Please note that all accreditation applications are subject to approval.

Traffic

Will I be able to access my work/home during the Airshow?

Yes, access to all roads will be possible throughout the event, however, you may have to follow sign-posted diversions. Please see the relevant information below regarding impacted roads, and the timings applicable, there are also maps showing the diversions in the local area.

What roads will be closed and at what times during the Airshow?

Monday 15th July – Friday 26th July

Trenchard Way and Queens Gate Road will be closed, as per the map below from 15th July – 26th July 2024.

Monday 15th July – Friday 26th July between midday and 5pm

The following roads will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians from Monday 15 July to Sunday 22 July between midday and 5pm:

• A323 Fleet Road - from its junction with Norris Hill Road and its junction with Laffans Road
• Aldershot Road - from its junction with A323 Fleet Road to the eastern boundary of The Foresters public house

A diversion route will direct traffic to use Bourley Road, please see Aldershot Road Diversion Plan below.

These roads are being closed is because of increased safety measures introduced by the Civil Aviation Authority following the Shoreham Airshow accident.

As a result of these measures, the Farnborough International Airshow organisers asked Hampshire County Council to close selected roads while the aerobatics displays are taking place. They also asked the Ministry of Defence to close a section of land to the southwest of the airfield.

Sunday 21st July to Friday 26 July

The following road closures will take place for the whole Airshow week:

• Netley Street at its junction with the A325 Farnborough Road
• Church Road West at its junction with the A325 Farnborough Rd
• Queens Road at its junction with Peabody Road
• Closeworth Road at its junction with Park Road
• Lynchford Road at its junction with Park Road (north-bound only)
• Cross Street, from Osbourne Road to A325 Footbridge. This closure will be staffed during the daytime and will allow access to residents. As such please display the supplied FIA 2024 vehicle label in the windscreen of your vehicle. We have allocated two vehicle labels per household, and these can be swapped between vehicles.

Monday 22nd July to Friday 26th July, 7am to 2pm

The following road closures will take place at the same time as the west-bound Lynchford Road one-way system from 22nd July to 26th July (between 7am and 2pm):

• Netley Street at its junction with Winchester Street
• Lynchford Road at its junctions with Old Lynchford Road (western end including new junctions)
• Southampton Street at its junction with Old Lynchford Road
• Osborne Road at its junction with Old Lynchford Road
• Peabody Road at its junction with Lynchford Road

Where will one-way systems be in operation during the Airshow?

Park Road one-way system reversed 21st July to 26th July:

The current one-way system will be reversed and no access will be allowed into, or out of Queens road for the duration of FIA. Turning bans will be in place as per below.

Lynchford Road one-way system 22nd July to 26th July (6am - 2pm):

A one-way system will run along the A3011 Lynchford Road towards the airfield. Traffic heading away from the airshow will be diverted along Old Lynchford Road, Winchester Street, Netley Street, Alexandra Road, Reading Road and Park Road. We expect that the diversion will be removed by midday daily. However, this will depend on the amount of traffic entering the show.

During the diversion, eastbound traffic will be diverted along Alexandra Road, Reading Road and Park Road. time (please see North Camp Inbound Plan below). All diversions will be clearly signposted.

NOTE: To reduce noise for residents no traffic management equipment will be placed before the hours of 5:30am.

These roads will then revert to normal flow for the remainder of the day, except for Park Road.

Where will turns be banned during the Airshow?

Between 21st July and 26th July, you will not be allowed to make the following movements:

• All right hand turns on the A325 Farnborough Road between its junction with Boundary Road and its junction with Lynchford Road (Queens Roundabout)
• Right hand turns from Salesian View, South Street, and Whites Road onto Park Road
• Left hand turns from Falkland Court and Lynchford Road onto Park Road

From 7am until 2pm between 21st July and 26th July, you will not be allowed to make the following movements:

• Right hand turn from Alexandra Road into Netley Street
• Right hand turn from Netley Street into Alexandra Road
• Right hand turn from Alexandra Road into Queens Road
• Right hand turn from Queens Road into Alexandra Road

From 6am until 7pm between 21st July and 26th July, you will not be allowed to make the following movements:

• Right hand turn from Government House Road into Queens Gate Road will only be permitted for FIA shuttle busses.

All other traffic will be directed down Government House Road to turn around at the roundabout indicated on the map below, before heading back up Government House Road. The left-hand lane will be dedicated for Queensgate Development and Gate D access only. As such please display the supplied FIA 2024 vehicle label in the windscreen of your vehicle. We have allocated two vehicle labels per household, and these can be swapped between vehicles.

If you’re booking a taxi or have any planned deliveries during this period, please advise them of the measures that have been put in place. They will be able to access your home if they can provide delivery details.

Will residential parking be affected during the Airshow?

Residents parking will remain unchanged for FIA 2024. For the past two shows we in conjunction with both Hampshire County Council and Rushmoor Borough Council operated a residents parking permit scheme in some North Camp Roads. This had a mixed reaction from the local community, with this in mind and taking in account there is no longer the public weekend which generated a significant change in parking demand on the local roads it has been agreed that this won’t be implemented for this show.

There will still be Residents Parking Only signage at the entrance to roads in North Camp on the western side of Alexandra Road, and Hampshire County Councils enforcement team will be available in their normal way and where possible support residents on occasions when obstruction of driveways may occur.

We will monitor parking in the area throughout show week and record feedback from residents, road users and Hampshire County Councils enforcement team to review for future shows.

Will we still be able to access North Camp shops?

Yes, the local diversions still allow for access to the shops which will be open as normal.

Will the public bus service still be running?

Yes, the normal service will be provided by the operator, however there may be some minor delays during peak period.

What if I have a funeral, moving house etc. during the show?

Please email us at [email protected] if you have any concerns around your plans during this time and we will do your best to advise you based on your address and planned traffic arrangements at this time.

What type of food & drink can I buy on site?

There will a number of catering facilities located across the show site offering a variety of choices suitable for dietary requirements. There is a café in each of the exhibition halls and an outdoor food court, “The Square”, offering artisan take-away options. Seating is available in all food areas.

Can I bring my own food & drink?

Visitors are permitted to bring their own picnics. Please ensure that you do not bring any sharp items i.e. knives and corkscrews. These will be confiscated at the gate.

Can I take photos or film during the show?

The use of photographic equipment is allowed for private domestic purposes only. All other recording and any transmission is strictly prohibited. As a condition of entry to the Airshow you assign to the Organiser (by way of a present assignment of future copyright) the copyright in any photographs or recordings you make at the Airshow.

What toilet facilities are there on site?

There are plenty of toilet facilities on site. There is also an accessible toilet and drinking water in each toilet block.

Is there drinking water available on site?

Free drinking water stations can be found throughout the site. These are clearly marked on the map and on the wayfinding signage.

What do I do if I need medical assistance?

In the event of injury or illness, locate the Medical Centre near Gate E (detailed on Show Map) or contact any of the Organisers or Security Staff who will arrange assistance. If emergency assistance is required, please dial 01252 636999 or 999.

Is smoking/vaping allowed on site?

Designated areas will be provided for smoking and vaping.
