The Farnborough International Airshow has made its return on 18-22 July 2022.
For decades, the Farnborough International Airshow has been the global platform for the aerospace and defence industry. FIA2022 carried even greater significance by serving as the first major event to reconnect colleagues from around the world, enabling business growth and recovery.
A huge amount changed in the four years since we last brought industry together; however, FIA2022 proved to be a strategic opportunity to witness the leaps in development that had taken place as well as showcase innovation to a truly global audience, face-to-face.

With the brand-new Aerospace Global Forum dedicated to accelerating discussion on sustainability, the incredible theatre hosted a packed 5-day schedule of keynotes and panel discussions that focused on the need for immediate action. This platform brought together key leaders from across the defence, space and aerospace sectors and stressed the importance of collaboration between businesses.

Pioneers of Tomorrow
On Friday 22 July, Farnborough International Airshow opened its doors to the future pioneers of the aerospace industry. By inviting students, young professionals and career movers to explore the show and the many potential opportunities, we hoped to inspire the next generations and provide a platform for meaningful networking and career progression.
Space Zone
The Space Zone at FIA2022, hosted in one of the brand-new sound stages, proved to be one of the most popular and successful parts of the show. Featuring exhibitors from a wide range of space-driven companies and Space Agencies from around the globe, the variety of ideas being shared and showcased was immense. The dedicated Space Theatre put on a comprehensive 5-day schedule of pioneering and engaging content, welcoming inspirational speakers and key figures from the space industry.
The space conversation continued on 7-8 September 2022 at the Space-Comm Expo which welcomed the leading space companies to Farnborough to connect and discuss the future commercialisation of the space industry.

The Business Connections Exchange
Formally the Meet the Buyer Programme, the Business Connections Exchange was reimagined for FIA2022 to better connect key decision-makers from around the globe and to help create long-lasting partnerships. Utilising the Vi-Meet Platform, participants of the Business Connections Exchange received access to unlimited meetings with suitable companies, with a professional and personalised support service.
