There is no single or linear route into a career in space. In this session, I will share my own journey from studying History to being a Space Engineer.
 
Drawing on my own personal experiences, I will explore how interests, skills and career ambitions can change and why your first decision does not have to define your entire future. The session will also explore the wide range of opportunities available across the space sector, from engineering, science and technology to project management, business development, communications, law and many other areas.
 
The aim is to show students that space is not reserved for astronauts or rocket scientists. Whatever your interests or strengths, there may be a place for you in the space sector.
